- Saturday, February 8, 2025.
- What time does the race begin?
- The 5K/10K begins promptly at 8:30a.m. on Mt. Vernon Road. The 1 Mile begins promptly at 8:00a.m. on Manhasset Drive. The Tot Trot (5yr and under) begins at 7:50a.m. sharp in parking lot near Manhasset Drive.
- Can I run or watch the 1 Mile/Tot Trot with my child and also run the 5K or 10K?
- Yes, but you will have to run fast.
- When do I pick up my race number?
- Packet pickup/T-shirts will be available for pickup at Saint Luke’s on February 7th, from 12:00-7:00 PM and also Race Morning starting at 6:30 AM.
- How do I know if I’m registered?
- If you registered online, you will receive an email confirmation. If you register at Saint Luke’s or mail in your form (coming soon), you will receive an email confirmation once your form has been entered into the system IF you include an email address on your form and your cancelled check is also your confirmation.
- What time should I arrive on Race Day?
- Participants should arrive by 7:00a.m.
- Where do I park?
- Official race parking is at Dunwoody Village (Chamblee Dunwoody Rd. & Mt. Vernon Rd….see race details page for directions), less than mile from the start line. Tartan Trot Shuttle Buses will be available to take you to Saint Luke’s starting at 6:30am and last bus will run at 8:00a.m. You may also choose to find on street parking in the area or park at Dunwoody High School lots. We are expecting a large crowd so allow enough time to park, get to the church to pick up your race number and warm up. Races will be promptly as scheduled. Shuttle buses will be available after races to take you back to Dunwoody Village for several hours….so stick around and enjoy the post race party.
- Will the race be cancelled if the weather is bad?
- This is a winter rain or shine event. Dress accordingly. If the race is cancelled due to unpredictable weather (snow or ice storm), the race will be rescheduled ASAP. No refunds or rain check will be given.
- Where do I check my results?
- Full results will be posted on RaceRoster.com within 48 hours after the completion of the race. We hope to have results posted by 3:00-4:00 PM on the day of the race. Results will also be posted on this website ASAP.
- Can I pick up a friend’s or family member’s packet?
- Yes…you’ll need to verify the date of birth of friend/family member.
- Can I swap my shirt if the size that I requested does not fit?
- Yes….we will have extra shirts and you are welcome to swap your shirt at the “extra shirt” table as long as they last.
- Can I run with my dog?
- YES! We are a dog friendly 5K event, however, you must have your dog on a leash and be in back of pack.
- Is there a Virtual option available?
- Yes, the 19th Annual Tartan Trot will offer both in-person and virtual options for the 5k, 10k, and 1 Mile Run. Click on registration and select the virtual option for the event you prefer. Shirts will be mailed for those that are not local. Virtual results will be posted on the website, but there will be no awards.
- When can I submit my virtual race time?
- You are able to submit times for the 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile race starting Saturday, February 8th through Sunday, February 9th.
- How do I submit my race times?
- You can submit your race times by using ASICS Runkeeper App or if you prefer to run without a phone or wearable tracking device, you can manually upload your time and be included on the event leaderboard.
